FIELD TRIPS AND GROUP TRIPS AT GROVER CENTER

We welcome school groups and all kinds of community groups to enjoy engaging, educational, and fun field trips at the Grover Center! Our programs are tailored to fit the needs and interests of each group, ensuring an experience that’s just right for your participants.

What We Offer

Our field trips are fully customizable and designed to be interactive, engaging, and age-appropriate. Whether you’re bringing preschoolers, high school students, or mixed-age groups, we tailor each visit to meet your needs and learning goals.

Depending on the group’s age and interests, activities may include:

  • Exhibit tours led by staff or volunteers

  • Scavenger hunts that encourage exploration and observation

  • Hands-on lessons focused on local history, artifacts, and storytelling

No two field trips are the same — we work directly with each group to create an experience that’s both fun and educational. We’re proud to welcome groups of all ages and make history come alive for every visitor.

Group Size & Rotations

  • For school groups with more than 25 children, we typically divide into smaller groups
  • Each group rotates through age-appropriate activities and tours to maximize learning and engagement

How Long Does a Field Trip Last?

Most groups spend about one hour at the Grover Center, which allows time for a guided experience and interactive activities. However, we’re happy to accommodate longer visits based on your schedule and group’s needs.

Whether you’re planning a quick museum stop or a half-day of rotating activities, we’ll work with you to create the right timeline for your trip.

Accessibility

  • Our facility is fully accessible, including an elevator lift on ground level for those with mobility needs
