The Shelby County Historical Society will hold the annual Pioneer Fair on September 29 and 30, and we want to see you there!
As this year marks the 50th year since the Pioneer Fair began, with the original fair titled the Blue River Valley Pioneer Fair and Craft Show, the Society is looking to make it bigger than ever.
As in the past, the fair will include demonstrations, games, and costuming all relating to pioneer and early settler history in the United States. This year, however, the Society is introducing new aspects to the fair that explore the pioneering spirit and innovation. This will include steam engine displays, a car show, old cameras, and much more.
Those interested in helping make this year’s Pioneer Fair a success can fill out and send the volunteer form on page 6, or donate to the Society by mailing a check to Grover Museum.
We can’t wait to see you there!
