The Grover Museum will be closed on Wednesdays this summer while staff and volunteers redesign the museum’s storage rooms. If you’ve been curious on where and how everything is stored, would like to get involved with the museum, or have an interest in Shelby County’s history, this is the perfect time to get plugged in here at the museum. Volunteer opportunities include moving artifacts, checking the catalog for and documenting the artifacts, building new shelves, properly storing the artifacts, and general housekeeping, like cleaning and painting the storage rooms.
